Alyson P. Shea, MSN – Founder & President

Alyson Shea is the mother of 5 children with her youngest son Gregory in heaven. She has been a nurse for 20 years working in the ICU, Preoperative Services and Nursing Leadership positions. Alyson has participated in a multidisciplinary team to focus on reducing the prescribing of opioids post surgery. In addition she collaborated with colleagues on different modalities to treat surgical pain. Alyson earned a Bachelors in nursing from Northeastern University Bouve School of Nursing and a Masters Degree in Nurse Executive from Chamberlain College.

Carla Nee, BA – Vice President

Carla Nee, a mother of two, is a prominent local figure and graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy. With a firsthand understanding of the devastating impact of drug addiction through personal loss, Carla brings a unique perspective. As a Realtor and Director of the South Shore Real Estate Investors Association, she applies her expertise to drive the organization’s success. Her background as a former Rape Aggression Defense Instructor reflects her dedication to community empowerment. Carla’s commitment to using her voice and experiences to raise awareness and drive positive change underscores her profound understanding of addiction’s challenges.

Yvette Anderson

Yvette Anderson is a proud mom of two teenage children. Her favorite things to do in life are being around her family and two dogs. She graduated from Laboure College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and has been working in an acute care setting at a hospital in Boston, MA since 2002. Having personally experienced the impact of Substance Use Disorders (SUD) through the loss of her father, she understands the far-reaching effects it has on the entire family. Yvette eagerly anticipates collaborating within a team, utilizing evidence-based data, to assist individuals with SUD and their loved ones.

James Duffy

James Duffy, a graduate of BC High School and Bryant University, is a dedicated Treasurer of a foundation supporting families affected by fentanyl-induced deaths. With his financial expertise, he manages resources efficiently to make a meaningful impact. Outside of his philanthropic endeavors, James enjoys playing golf and actively contributes to his family’s plumbing business.

Marcel Lee

Marcel Lee joins our Board of Consultants, bringing with him a wealth of experience in digital marketing and consulting for small businesses. We are confident that his expertise will greatly benefit our foundation. Furthermore, Marcel has a personal connection to the devastating effects of Substance Use Disorders (SUD), having tragically lost his nephew. This firsthand experience has deepened his understanding of the wide-reaching impact it has on families. Marcel is enthusiastic about collaborating with our team, leveraging evidence-based data to support individuals facing SUD and their loved ones.

Parker Gordon

Parker Gorton is a compassionate and resilient individual, has personally experienced the devastating effects of drug-related loss. Motivated by her own profound loss, she is dedicated to supporting others who have faced similar tragedies. Currently pursuing a degree in Special Education, Parker strives to offer inclusive support to individuals with diverse learning needs, drawing from her empathy, understanding, and personal experience. Through volunteering, networking, and raising awareness, she aims to create a supportive environment for those dealing with grief and substance use disorder, positioning herself as a compassionate advocate ready to help navigate the challenges of drug-related loss.
