Alyson P. Shea, MSN – Founder & President
Alyson Shea is the mother of 5 children with her youngest son Gregory in heaven. She has been a nurse for 20 years working in the ICU, Preoperative Services and Nursing Leadership positions. Alyson has participated in a multidisciplinary team to focus on reducing the prescribing of opioids post surgery. In addition she collaborated with colleagues on different modalities to treat surgical pain. Alyson earned a Bachelors in nursing from Northeastern University Bouve School of Nursing and a Masters Degree in Nurse Executive from Chamberlain College.
Carla Nee – Vice President
Carla Nee is a devoted mother of two and a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Her personal experience with the devastating impact of drug addiction has inspired her to become a passionate advocate for families navigating loss and recovery. A dedicated real estate professional and investor, Carla is actively involved in multiple professional networking organizations, where she fosters meaningful connections and drives community growth. A former Rape Aggression Defense Instructor, Carla’s unwavering commitment to empowerment, education, and advocacy fuels her mission to raise awareness, foster healing, and inspire meaningful change in the face of addiction’s challenges.
Sean Shea – Development Director
Sean leads the development and execution of comprehensive fundraising strategies, including campaigns and events, building and nurturing relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding partners to secure financial support. He identifies new funding opportunities, manages donor databases, and ensures accurate and timely grant applications and reporting. Sean collaborates with other team members to align fundraising efforts with the foundation’s mission and goals, ensuring the foundation’s financial sustainability and growth.
Reilly Shea – Board of Directors/Trustees
Reilly provides governance and oversight as a member of the Board of Trustees, ensuring accountability, transparency, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. She supports strategic planning, fundraising efforts, and resource development, collaborating with other board members to guide the foundation’s direction and policies. Carla plays a crucial role in maintaining the foundation’s integrity and aligning its activities with its mission and goals.
James Duffy – Program Director/Manager
James Duffy, a graduate of BC High School and Bryant University, is the Program Director/Manager. He oversees the development and management of the foundation’s programs, ensuring they align with its mission and goals. With his financial expertise as a dedicated Treasurer of a foundation supporting families affected by fentanyl-induced deaths, James manages resources efficiently to make a meaningful impact. Outside of his philanthropic endeavors, James enjoys playing golf and actively contributes to his family’s plumbing business.
Marcel Lee – Digital Strategy Advisor
Marcel brings a wealth of expertise in website development, business consulting, and technology integration. He provides comprehensive guidance to enhance the foundation’s online presence and overall business strategy. This role involves advising on website optimization and implementing digital marketing strategies, leveraging social media, SEO, and content marketing to boost visibility. He also integrates technology solutions to streamline operations, ensuring the foundation remains at the forefront of digital innovation.

Greg Shea – Program Development Advisor
Greg brings a wealth of expertise in program development and strategic planning. He provides comprehensive guidance to enhance the foundation’s program offerings and overall impact. This role involves advising on the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs to ensure they align with the foundation’s mission and goals. Greg also works on developing new initiatives and improving existing ones to better serve the community, ensuring the foundation remains at the forefront of innovative program development.
Michael Shea – strategic Advisor
Michael, as our Strategic Advisor, brings a visionary approach to our foundation. With a deep understanding of strategic planning, he enhances our long-term goals and initiatives. Michael advises on critical decisions, identifies growth opportunities, and ensures our strategies align with the foundation’s mission. His innovative insights keep the foundation on the cutting edge, driving impactful change and sustained growth.
